Painted Violin
The original raw wood, unfinished violin was made by the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico and was purchased on a trip that I made to the Copper Canyon when I was contracted to perform on the passenger train, The Sierre Madre Express, to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary, November 2006.
Over an 8 month period, I would clean my brushs on the violin with the acrylic paint that was left over from other painting projects until the final result depicted here below was achieved.
